An upgrade to a fully digital system for an existing Customer of 20 years. We were asked by our Customer to improve the body-worn radio microphone performance of the original Sennheiser G3 systems and elected to use Audio-technica PRO20 digital lapel microphones. Steeple Ashton Village Hall, Wiltshire

Steeple Ashton Village Hall is a very interesting success story, of local people who worked passionately over many years to raise the funds to improve a building, in the centre of this small Wiltshire Village. It is now a great example of a village focal point, where all sorts of activities take place thanks to Chairman, Clive Little and his team of volunteers. Location Sound have been working with the team for almost 20 years and in 2009 we upgraded the audio element of the existing system. In 2021 Clive asked us to fully upgrade the system, with the addition of an Optimal-Audio digital amplifier, EZCastPRO wireless link and Viewsonic Laser Projector. Customer and users are very happy with the completed system which is regularly used for the wide variety of activities which take place there. In May 2026 we installed a PRO20 digital radio microphone system, so that presenters at the regular talks, can be heard clearly and the audience can fully participate in Q&As,

Tytherington Village Hall, Gloucestershire

When we were asked to quote for a sound system in Tytherington Village Hall, we were able to refer the Committee to a previous installation at a Village Hall in Falfield, with a similar requirement. Tytherington Village Hall is used for pre-school, drama, fitness and a variety of group presentations, plus there was a plan to have a monthly Film Night.

We elected to use a Denon AV Receiver with Dolby 7.1 surround, feeding 3 pairs of JBL Control 25 loudspeakers mounted along the side walls of the Hall, with a JBL ceiling loudspeaker used as the front-central feed - due to a limited ceiling height above the screen. A ViewSonic laser projector was installed with a Sapphire 16:9 electric screen, together with an AVX Induction Loop Amplifier and single Trantec radio microphone. EZCast Pro offers wireless access to the system from phones, tablets and laptops for presentations.
The system was installed in late August 2024 and the image and sound quality which we have achieved is excellent.
